Welcome to Secret Esthetic. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (the "Site") and the booking of facial spa and esthetic services provided by Secret Esthetic ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or purchasing products/services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Site or book services with us.

1. Our Services

Secret Esthetic offers professional facial treatments, holistic skincare services, acne consultations, and specialized skin therapies provided by licensed estheticians. Our services are intended for cosmetic, relaxation, and non-medical skin improvement purposes.

2. Appointment Booking & Deposit Policy

To provide a high-touch, dedicated experience for every client, we enforce a phased booking and payment system:

Booking and Deposit: When booking a service through our online portal, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront to secure your appointment time slot.

Final Payment: The remaining 50% of the service fee will be due immediately upon the completion of your service at our physical spa location.

Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to change our service menu and pricing at any time without prior notice.

3. Health Information & Intake Forms

Your skin's health and safety are our top priorities.

Mandatory Form Completion: Immediately after submitting your 50% deposit, you are required to complete our digital Health Info Form via our client portal.

Accuracy: You agree to provide fully accurate, honest, and complete information regarding your medical history, current medications (such as Accutane, Retin-A, topical steroids), allergies, skincare routines, and pregnancy status.

Contraindications: Secret Esthetic reserves the right to alter, delay, or refuse a scheduled service if a client’s undisclosed health condition or current medication poses a safety risk or contraindication to the treatment.

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, & Lateness

We value your time and ask that you value ours. Because time slots are reserved exclusively for you, the following policies apply to all appointments:

Cancellation & Rescheduling Window: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must do so at least 36 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Forfeiture of Deposit: Changes or cancellations made within 36 hours of the scheduled appointment time are subject to a cancellation fee. This fee is equal to 50% of the service total. 

Late Arrivals: A 15-minute grace period will be allowed for all appointments but will result in a shortened service to accommodate the next scheduled client. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, you will be subject to the 50% cancellation fee outlined in this policy. 

No-Show Appointments: All "no-show" appointments will be charged a non-refundable amount that is equal to 100% of the service total. After a third no-show, you will be required to prepay for all future appointments. All cancellation and no-show fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

5. Age Requirements & Minors

Clients must be at least 18 years of age to book and receive services independently. Minors (under the age of 18) may receive select skincare services only if a parent or legal guardian provides written consent and remains present on the premises during the duration of the treatment.

6. Results Disclaimer

Skincare is highly individualized, and individual results from facials, treatments, acne specialist programs, and product regimens may vary. Secret Esthetic makes no guarantees regarding specific cosmetic outcomes. The information on this website and during consultations is for educational and aesthetic purposes and does not substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a dermatologist or physician.

7. Product Sales & Refunds

Services: All completed spa services and paid deposits are strictly non-refundable.

Retail Products: Skincare products purchased at our spa or on our website are final sale due to health and safety regulations. If you experience an adverse allergic reaction to a product purchased from us, please contact us within 7 days of purchase for assistance or conditional retail exchange options.

8. Client Code of Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

We strive to create a peaceful, safe, and respectful environment. We reserve the right to refuse service to, or terminate the session of, any individual who exhibits inappropriate, disrespectful, aggressive, or unsafe behavior toward our staff or other guests.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including logos, text, graphics, images, service descriptions, and layout—is the exclusive property of Secret Esthetic and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Secret Esthetic, its owner, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our website, information provided, retail products, or spa services, including but not limited to unexpected skin reactions or sensitivities.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions arising from these terms shall be filed in the appropriate court located in San Diego County, California.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted immediately to this webpage with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of our website and services following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
